Went with my 4 and 6 year old today on a PA day and there were several different attractions specifically for kids - games, legos, puzzles, colouring, hands-on detective work like magnifying glasses, and uniform dress up. Add in viewing the vintage vehicles, an OPP cartoon from the video selections, and the visit held their attention for a good hour and a half. Some of the more traditional exhibits, like weapons displays, canine unit info, also captured their attention.

The exhibit celebrating International Women's Day was inspiring and filled with some exceptional pieces. Having the opportunity to speak to one of the artists was an added bonus. The second floor contains a small section of bios and artifacts and focuses on local history. I know some people will say you will be done in twenty minutes but there was something wonderful in slowing down and really absorbing the aesthetic experience. My wife and I took about two hours to enjoy the exhibits.
