This is the most amazing park! Beautifully groomed (with pea gravel) trail right through the middle of Peterborough. You can cycle, hike or dog-walk for several kilometers along the trail. You can even geocache! What a pity to hear they are going to put a motorway through this gem. That just doesn't seem right to chew up this green space.

Year-Round

Great mountain bike hill. Something for everyone. Easy trails available for kids (Porcupine Pie for really young kids, Breakwall and the back side of the mountain for older kids). Overall the trails are very technical, not just a ride in the park. Good for hiking too for the whole family. Watch out for the back side of the hill because it is wet for the beginning of the season until June or so (this year with the downpour it is more likely to be well into July before it is dry back there..

My Daughter and I love this park. Great walking trails, a big Picnic area. this is mostly a walking trail park. There are 2 main trails, a short trail about 15-20 mins and a medium trail about 30-40 mins. The longer trail does have a huge slope-down about halfway through so wear proper footwear.
