DEL CRARY PARK REVIEWS

Gorgeous waterfront park that hosts the Peterborough Musicfest! There are two bathrooms available (one below the Lighthouse Restaurant and one beside the Peterborough Art Gallery). The Little Lake fountain is an attraction to view during the day however, watching the lights flicker through the fountain is even more stunning. There is a municipal parking lot available and the Liftlock Cruise Boat is available for a small fee.

It's a great green space by pituresque Little Lake. Free music performances in the summer on Wednesday and Saturday. How can you beat that ??

A great area in the middle of the city where free concerts happen in the summer, multi cultural events on special days, all this to celebrate new beginnings and further past adventures.

Beautiful trails. Must visit in fall. If you go there in winter, make sure you’re wearing snow shoes and all necessary clothing. There are also dog trails and a river passing though the woods. Playground: There js not an actual play groud but yes lots of space for kids to play and some slides and an activity bar. Dog-friendliness: Most of the people comes with their dogs. It's not a proper concrete road or something like that so dogs can also enjoy the natural trails and the weather.

We had our very small ( covid mini version ) of our wedding here at our very beautiful jacksons Park in 2020 Oct 31. Dog-friendliness: Amazing spot to have a beautiful nature hike with ur furbabies!! Ours LOVE JP.... we pull in the parking lot and they can barely contain their excitement knowing they are there! Def their fave spot for walks.

Beautiful place for cross country skiing, there are tracks made specifically for skiing. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash.

NICHOLLS OVAL PARK REVIEWS

Peterborough's Folk Festival is absolutely the best once yearly event on the sweetest spot on a hill in Nicholls Oval Park. Peterborough and surrounding area folk come yearly to see top bands in an intimate setting with a river in the background of the stage and dancers dancing and kids running around infront of the stage. Worth the outing. EnJoY! & ChEeRs.

Beautiful large park on the shores of the Trent River. Restrooms: Clean, newish. Plus private change rooms. There are outlets for charging your phone. plus, they are inside, so if it rains, you're covered.

Home of the Peterborough Pagans rugby club. Fantastic rugby field. Flat, no divots, grass is lovely. They also have a lovely clubhouse.
