“2025 Update: Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises is a natural area with a range of habitats, features trails and a centre offering exhibits and programs. Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises is located 21.8 miles from Sherbrooke, QC. It is the largest urban wetland in the area that is accessible to the public year-round. It includes woodlands and rivers that are home to an impressive biodiversity. Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises is known for its very long boardwalk, and is home to nearly 700 animal and plant species. It offers free permanent and temporary exhibitions in its Interpretation Center. On site, you can also enjoy a café, a shop, terraces, and restrooms.”

PARC DU MONT-BELLEVUE REVIEWS

This place is flipping awesome in my opinion. The staff is super nice and patient, the mountain its self for skiing and snowboarding is perfect for first timers. The trails are easier than other bigger mountains such as Orford but they're fun. I've also been hiking there and it's really pretty, especially during the fall season!!! Over all, it's a pretty chill place and lots of people like the poutine they serve btw.

J'adore y aller à toutes les saisons. Ma famille et moi y pratiquons le vélo de montagne, la randonnée et le ski alpin. C'est merveilleux d'avoir cela si près de la maison.

Le Mont Bellevue est magnifique à découvrir, que ce soit en randonnée pédestre, à vélo (un peu sport), ou en ski l'hiver. Pour les fans de rando c'est vraiment super.

Le Marais Réal-D.-Carbonneau à Sherbrooke est un endroit magnifique pour se promener. Les sentiers sont bien aménagés, offrant une durée de marche raisonnable. Vous pouvez même prolonger votre balade en faisant un autre tour si vous le souhaitez. L’environnement paisible et calme est propice à la détente. De plus, vous aurez l’occasion d’observer une grande variété d’animaux, dont certains sont rares. C’est un lieu idéal pour la photographie et pour se reconnecter avec la nature12. Profitez de cette oasis naturelle lors de vos prochaines sorties.

Endroit merveilleux pour prendre une marche. Les chiens sont acceptés. Un endroit idéal pour observer les oiseaux. La photo que j'ai ajouté à mon commentaire, c'est le tracé d'une portion des sentiers de l'Estrie. Le début de ce sentier, commence dans le sentier du marais. C'est la seule portion des Sentiers de l'Estrie que les chiens sont acceptés. Ce sentier peut être pris à partir du parc Debonaire.

C'est rare qu'on peut se retrouver au milieu de tant de biodiversité à seulement 5 minutes du centre ville. Il est facile d'observer plusieurs espèces d'oiseaux. De plus, le sentier du marais croise un sentier des Sentiers de l'Estrie, pour ceux et celles qui veulent marcher plusieurs kilomètres.

MARAIS DE LA RIVIÈRE AUX CERISES REVIEWS

Nice, quiet trails for a walk. One can also learn about the history of Marais aux Cerises and the efforts that were made to preserve the ecosystem. It should be noted that the trails are accessible by foot from downtown Magog. Free entrance but paid parking (except for Magog residents).

Lovely walk from the interpretation center off Chemin Roy. Parking is 2.50$ /hr and the hike is along a raised boardwalk or under a forest canopy. To walk the length one way will take 30-45 min. It ends at point Merry in Magog. Lots of information plaques along the trail and some art installations. In the spring I can imagine lots of animal activity, however at the end of the summer the marsh is dry.

Wow! Such nice discovery near Magog! The walking path is really nice! It took us right to the middle of the town where we had a cute little picnic near the water! For sur we gonna go back.
