I recently visited the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Center in Sherbrooke and was impressed by the atmosphere and the events offered. One of the most memorable features of my visit was the English tea party held at the center.The tea party at Uplands is not just a treat but an event that immerses you in the spirit of old English traditions. The setting was cozy and elegant, reminiscent of classic Victorian homes. Guests were offered a wide selection of fragrant teas, and a variety of desserts.The staff were very friendly and attentive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I especially appreciated how they shared stories about the traditions of English tea parties and the history of the house.In addition to the tea party, the center has many interesting exhibits dedicated to the history and culture of the Eastern Townships region, making the visit even more enriching and educational.If you're looking for a place to enjoy a delightful time and experience a genuine English tea party, the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Center is the perfect choice. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates history, culture, and cozy traditions.

My sister took to a place she visit often. I loved the tour but was unable to have tea since it wasn't officially open for the season. The girls that gave the tour were very informative and interesting. Live it! Would highly recommend it.

Always nice to find such well-organized and relevant exhibitions in our regional museums. The temporary exhibition is about scandals, it is really very well done. We also learn a lot about Sherbrooke in the room on the ground floor. Once again, a high quality exhibition. Well done!

Beautiful current exhibitions. The lady at reception is very friendly and available to answer our questions. Small museum but with the interactive side of the permanent exhibition, the price is right.

VILLE DE SHERBROOKE REVIEWS

This beautiful building and surrounding grounds can be part of a nice afternoon walk. We found a jazz concert on the city hall grounds, and four inviting coffee shops just across the street. There are also many interesting shops and restaurants in nearby Wellington street and also the views of the Magog river mills. This was an interesting section of town with a lot of history and unique shops.

Sherbrooke town hall is located in a beautiful old building in the city, well located in the center, close to several restaurants, bars and cafes.

The building dates back to 1904, beautiful and simple architecture, in the heart of the city center.
