The seminary museum, the Musée du Séminaire de Sherbrooke, became the Sherbrooke Museum of Nature and Science after more than 120 years of the project to encourage education and understanding of the natural sciences in a scholastic context. Its mission is to inspire, stimulate, and make knowledge of nature, sciences, and the abundance of natural heritage resources available to everyone. The Museum received more than 40,000 tourists, and the travelling exhibitions were shown in Canada and the United States.

The Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke presents a broad array of exhibits of the creative arts and cultural events. The museum's exhibits consist of collections by local artists from the region of the Eastern Townships, works inspired by the Eastern Townships and regional and foreign native art. It offers the chance to savour the works of great Quebec, Canadian and international artists, citizens and visitors of the city. The Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke provides free admission for children age six and under.
