My husband and I booked an airbnb near by and we sort of got lost so we looked on google map to see if there was any nice parks around since we had our dogs. We are so glad we found this gem! Peaceful and beautiful place to wander around. the people who took care of this place, thank you! it was such great work you’ve done! definitely worth the trip especially if you are visitors like us.

I love this park. Quiet, large green spaces, mosaic cultures in summer with a small lake for reading and relaxing (no swimming). In winter, if the temperature permits, the lake turns into an ice rink. Several events are held there during the year and make a difference in the cultural life of Sherbrooke.

It's really beautiful, free and it looks like a mini botanical garden but more beautiful... It's very peaceful too. I'm curious to go for a walk there in winter.

PARC LUCIEN-BLANCHARD REVIEWS

For a location such as Sherbrooke, the idea of creating a beach in this park is really well thought out. Children swim and play with sand in complete safety in the presence of lifeguards as well as parents (who also enjoy the swim). Next to this is the nautical club for the rental of canoes and kayaks. Well-appointed play areas as well as a volleyball court.

Park opening hours 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Lucien-Blanchard Park is a true gem in Sherbrooke! The beach is clean and ideal for relaxing. The surrounding cycle paths are magnificent and well maintained. Perfect for an outing with family or friends. I highly recommend this park.

It's good. There are outdoor exercise machines, a beach, volleyball courts, toilets and you can rent water boats. You can also lock your bike there.
