I absolutely love this park. We enjoyed both summer and winter time here. Love to run, hike or walk through this park to Heber Down Conservation trail. This is the only park we liked the most so far in Whitby area that is close to our place. Free parking as well but we usually walk or run instead of driving there.
Once a miniature park now a public park. The miniature park from memory two decades ago was remarkable. The park nowadays is beautiful. After a light snow, the sky was blue. The temperature was low, the place was not busy, even on a Saturday. The trail along the creek was short. Ample parkings.
It was such a serine place with many walking trails. The sound of the river was refreshing. Most important it was great to know the historical importance of the spot. A great place to walk around and should be nice place for picnic during summer.
