Kyle and his team completed our second story addition and main floor renovation last summer. Kaven Construction was extremely reliable and professional, working with us every step of the way. They maintained a clean work site, checked in with us every day and ensured we were happy with their progress. They did not hesitate to make changes or modifications to the design when needed. I like that Kyle values the importance of local small businesses in our community, and that he often used local businesses and professionals to help with the project. We hired Kaven Construction to do a complete renovation on our main floor including moving the kitchen from the back of the house to the side of the house, removing walls, new floors and ceiling and refinished staircase as well as new front and back doors. During the entire process, we felt comfortable and confident that Kyle and his Crew (shout out to Kevin, Dave and Mason) had all aspects of the Reno under control. During the Reno, Kyle identified that we were able to remove a support post and replace it with a sunken beam and worked directly with the engineer to get the drawings and approvals needed. Our home is now as “open concept” as it possibly can be and feels much larger than it did. Kyle managed to work within our tight budget and the workman ship is excellent. We just had our basement finished by Kaven Construction & Renovations Inc and we are beyond happy with the outcome! Kyle was amazing...he had some great ideas, was so kind...I think he always has a smile on his face...he made sure that everything his guys did that they did to perfection.
