TORA-YA RAMEN REVIEWS

I have been here twice now. The ramens are tasty. They only offer two kinds of soup (Soya sauce and Miso based). It usually busy for dinner time. So, you may experience some lime-up to get in.

Service was quick. The ramen was good even though I'm not exactly a ramen person. What sold me was the yaki soba - great noodle dish packed with flavor. This is a smaller place, and they don't take reservations, so be aware if you want to go during busier times.

Absolutely fantastic food and service! If you are vegan or vegetarian and looking for a great experience, I highly recommend this restaurant. I think we may have lucked out to get a seat without a reservation.

Exceptional all-you-can-eat experience! From sushi rolls to teriyaki chicken, everything was delicious and abundant. Don't miss out on their amazing poutine! Shoutout to our waiter Jack for quick service and fresh food. Highly recommend!

Jacques is the ultimate host, explaining all the delicacies on the extensive menu. Everything, and I mean everything, is fresh and delicious. Don’t miss it, it’s the best Japanese food in Quebec City.

Best all you eat in town. Very hungry and bumped into this restaurant where the server Jacques was very polite and took care of me and my family. Had a great time and will go back. Great staff and affordable and quick service.

HONŌ IZAKAYA REVIEWS

One of my favorite meals I’ve ever had. I love a meal of just small plates. We are all so used to a traditional restaurant, but here you order a couple things at a time, until you’re perfectly full. There’s no rush from the staff so you can truly enjoy each bite.

This is a very small restaurant where reservations are mostly needed; otherwise, you may have to wait for a while. Our table for two against the wall was tiny. We ordered 7 plates, which was enough for the two of us. The waitress actually held off on putting in our last dish because she thought we would be full after 6 plates.

Had an amazing experience here, food and atmosphere were so well done. Love all the thought and care that went into each dish. Place was absolutely packed out and for good reason!
