DON VEGAN RESTAURANT REVIEWS

My spouse and I made reservations here to celebrate our honeymoon. The server was very friendly and, recalling our reason for booking, offered us a glass of champagne/sparkling cider to celebrate. All of our food was delicious (the sauce for the dumplings was really great), and we had a nice time sitting on the patio in the shade. We definitely plan to return on our next visit to QC.

Absolutely loved everything about our experience here. It was by far our favorite restaurant we ate at in Quebec City. We started with their amazing dumplings and ordered the gnocchi and their bibimbap for our meals. Their cashew sauce on the gnocchi was so creamy and flavorful I was scraping it off my plate by the end. The bibimbap had amazing flavor as well as veggies that were perfect crispiness and delicious pickled radish. We were full by the end but the food was so good how could we say no to dessert. We finished our meal with their poor man's pudding and it was worth it. I completely understand why that is a crowd favorite. The perfectly fresh fruit with the sweet maple and creamy/airy cake was heavenly. All I can say is you definitely want to go here and should share everything because you're going to want to try it all. On top of the amazing food our waitress was super sweet and had such a great bubbly personality. Such a delightful restaurant.

Delicious Don, veritable Vegan. Twice attended. Cocktails to die for. Sweet, bitter, tasty bud stimulant. Nice at night, with fountain and lights. Staff speedy. Go there, fun part of lower Old Québec City.

Insanely delicious and every sushi bite is like an explosion of flavours in your mouth. Everything was to die for!!!! One of the best sushi places I’ve ever been to that accommodates vegans. A bit expensive but 100% worth it, the quality and freshness of it all is so immaculate. You genuinely get what you pay for. Will be back here soon.

Are here on our last trip to Quebec City. Such flavorful Sushi!! The restaurant itself is quite nicely done too. Would definitely be returning here on every trip to Quebec! Highly recommend making reservations as it was packed even on a Thursday night when we visited.

Great food and excellent ambience! We ordered the gyoza, sushi and green tea (pot) and they were really good. Their sushi was extremely flavorful, some of the best I’ve had. Service is sometimes a bit slow but overall not a big deal.

Getting the taste of vegan food now. It's more than just experimental, it's about seeking the best in food variations, between complementary and contrasting tastes. Sometimes, it's best not to know the fine details of the dishes. We got good tastes at Les Mauvaises Herbes, backed by excellent service. New menu, we were told. Liked the open kitchen approach.

Can’t praise this place enough: The menu is small but all the dishes I had were absolutely amazing. Had to come back again and the service and food were just as good as before! Super friendly owner and staff. Has some great craft beer too and the atmosphere in the restaurant is vibrant and cosy. A must come restaurant if your visiting Quebec.

What a beautiful place to dine in. ‘Less is more’ perfectly describes this restaurant. The menu may be limited, but don’t let that fool you—the flavors are outstanding. We ordered the Cauliflower Steak and Ravioli, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. As for the dessert- we were speechless (checkout the pic). Truly exceptional!.
