Although I am a volunteer at the HBH, I was a visitor before I joined. The experience at the house one of a guided tour throughout the house, from the basement, (yes it was built with a basement and you'll love the history there), to the attic, (where the servants bedded), to the property with the decades old apple trees, maintained in the same way they were when the house was originally built in 1860.

Very nice library with lots of sunlight, sitting space and tables. The curated displays are nice to browse if you are in the mood for something random or seasonal. There were a lot of new books available for 1 week lending period. The entrance to the library also has some information on local events/community stuff.
