3 Best Landmarks in Brampton, ON

This is a fantastic place to read, research, connect, and grow. I registered here yesterday, and everything is so seamless. The staff are very courteous, and someone's always around to help. Lot of resources, space, and a very mixed crowd. Registration gives you access to other Brampton libraries as well. Sometimes, it gets a little noisy around the front desk, but generally a quiet place. Has a tiny beautiful park with benches just outside. Well maintained.

I am regular visitor to this library and In the winter my kids enjoy skating infront of the library. This library is not a very big library but still got few important books, the library is in great spot and there are many seating places in the library to sit and ready quietly. The staff at this library are very friendly and they are always willing to help when you need any help.

Went there on a weekday and not too busy I was pleasantly surprised at how many things there are to see. If you compare it to a bigger museum it’s smaller in comparison but I think it’s pretty solid I’d say it takes you around 1 hour to go through everything. It is $6 right now, which is nice We went in and were greeted by the staff who were kind to explain where everything is and where their favorite exhibits are. My favorite exhibit is the courtroom as you can go in and explore, as well as take pictures in it. There is also a jail, a space that explores black history, exhibits of space and more. Would recommend going for a fun activity downtown.

Admission was free since they are between exhibitions, but there was still a lot to see and was an interesting experience. Delve into history by visiting the courthouse and jail. Take a gander at the exhibits - the two that were most interesting to me were the Suitcase Project and the one that explained all the roles at the museum. It was interesting to see how many pieces have to come together to make an exhibit come together. The Suitcase Project is about Japanese Canadian who were forced to leave their homes in 1942. We had a meaningful conversation sparked by this exhibit and it's not something I will soon forget.

Fantastic gallery with a current exhibit on dogs! Very interesting to see the court house and county jail. Also loved the Indigenous art displayed and was especially impressed with the Inuit sculpture of Sedna. Another interesting exhibition was about the aerospace industries in the area. Overall, a very worthwhile visit.
