“Historic Bovaird House is a nostalgic local venue for various seasonal activities. The hallmarks of Georgian architecture and proportion, and symmetry are evident in the home's interior and exterior. Fireplaces, windows, and rooms are evenly matched, creating a visually balanced and pleasing environment. The 1852 Historic Bovaird House is a traditional Georgian-style 5-bay farmhouse set in a 2-acre park-like environment alongside the 1845 Pendergast Log House. Visitors can experience local pioneering life through guided tours of these historic homes, which date back to the mid-19th century. The Friends of the Historical Bovaird House organization offers various programs and events. Historic Bovaird House offers free admission for all visitors.

“The Rose Brampton is a regional theatre located in downtown Brampton, Ontario. Based on the configuration, it contains the main performance hall with 880 seats and a fairly small multipurpose hall with 130-160 seats. At The Rose, they are committed to coordinating successful events and are passionate about providing memorable experiences for artists, audiences, and clients. “CAA Centre is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena with 4 NHL-size rinks, including a spectator bowl, and a full-service 250-seat restaurant that oversees the 3 community rinks. The main hall is part of a larger complex with three smaller ice pads and outdoor softball diamonds. Annually, the stadium hosts the Canadian International Kabaddi Competition, known as the Canada Kabaddi World Cup. CAA Centre offers free parking and lot rentals for drive-in programs and rides. HISTORIC BOVAIRD HOUSE REVIEWS

It opens on specific days, hours. Really worth to visit specifically with kids/teens (free entry, parking). It is a historic site which is run by volunteers and city’s help (you can donate a bit) , a gem within Brampton’s residential layouts, full with history of pre-Canada (dominion) and quick view on how life was there then (in 1800s) plus Brampton’s own history. Many thanks and kudos to Geoff who was our guide and host explaining each and every, small to big things and history, tech around it. Thank him for his patience and taking time out for providing such a detailed and interesting tour to us. Guess what?- they have events in spring and falls with community like gathering for a quick supper where everything is made locally there. Looking forward for that in the Fall this year.

Amazing little house full of our Canadian history and stories about the early settlers and farmers who built Brampton from the ground up. Our guides were very knowledgeable and loved when visitors would ask questions about the day to day lives of the families that lived in this house many generations ago. Thank you to the volunteers, donors, and community Champions who work tirelessly to keep this little piece of history alive for generations to come.

My first time coming here with family on Mother’s Day and had a wonderful time. I had the cinnamon apple tea and wonderful plate of treats followed: chocolate dipped strawberry, gingerbread cookie, sugar cookie, lemon loaf, fruit cake and a muffin with strawberry jam and whipped cream on the side. If you haven’t tried definitely recommend.

THE ROSE BRAMPTON REVIEWS

The Rose Theatre is a great medium sized theatre, you can see the stage well from almost any direction. I've gone to two concerts at the theatre and never had a problem hearing or seeing the performers. There are good washroom facilities, a snack bar, and underground parking. I would highly recommend seeing a show there, it has an intimate feel, while still being big enough to make you feel like you were part of an event.

My family recently attended the showing of The Sound of Music at The Rose Theatre in Brampton. First time at the theatre. It is a great location close to restaurants and most importantly great underground parking. As for the show the seats and the amenities offered were fantastic.

Absolutely fantastic performance by the Brampton Musical Theatre. My friend and I left the theatre singing and humming. Unfortunately we were nearly late for the performance due to the Theatre’s parking garage being under construction, we had to turn around and find nearby space.

CAA CENTRE REVIEWS

We went to the Powerade Centre for the Salim and Suleiman concert. Though it is a hockey arena, they transformed it well for a concert atmosphere. Our seats were on the floor and we had a splendid view of the stage. The seating is very tight, you are pretty much elbow to elbow with the person next to you. There was ample parking spaces and the concession stand had popcorn, pizza and of course samosas.

We had a great time here at the IIHF Women’s Worlds. We got accessible seats for our parents and got to sit in the gallery. Such a fun time! We have some regular seats for other games too and looking forward to it! The arena was clean and functional. The staff was amazing. Food was great!

Came here for a regular game of the IIHF Women’s Championship and the venue managed it very well. We were given merchandise at the entrance and the concessions were also pretty fairly priced. The game itself was great and the media on the TVs in the arena was very helpful and interesting.
