Chilliwack Museum in the former City Hall with documents, artifacts & oral histories from the city's past. The Museum has main exhibition galleries and historic programming spaces. The Museum also delivers programs to schools and showcases relevant historical, cultural and art exhibits in their galleries. Their new purpose-built Archives facility houses the most extensive collection of important objects and archival materials in the Fraser Valley. At the same time, the material collection and Chilliwack Archives have situated three blocks from the Museum. The Chilliwack Museum and Historical Society regulate this Chilliwack Museum and Archives. The library is elegant and clean and has a variety of books to read.

Sardis Library has a collection of books and materials that are available in 26 different languages. The library provides a way to connect with the community, meet people, and learn about BC life. The library is internet access and has word processing computers. The library also has a virtual place to discover new books and other library materials to enjoy. It has casual seating around a fireplace. Sardis Library is FVRL’s latest location. Fraser Valley Regional Library (FVRL) is the most extensive floating library system that allows customers to access materials in any of the 25 libraries and reserve items at no cost.
