Chilliwack Museum is housed in the former city hall and holds documents, artifacts, and oral histories from the city's past. This notable landmark welcomes new members year-round with various membership categories for individuals, families, and businesses. The museum features main exhibition galleries and historic programming spaces and offers programs to schools while showcasing relevant historical, cultural, and art exhibits. The new purpose-built Archives facility, situated three blocks from the museum, houses the most extensive collection of essential objects and archival materials in the Fraser Valley. The Chilliwack Museum and Historical Society manage both the museum and the archives.

2025 Update: With 2 exhibit spaces and a gift shop on the ground floor and a rental hall on the second floor, the Museum is a wonderful venue to visit and learn about Chilliwack and its history.
