PICKERING PUBLIC LIBRARY - GEORGE ASHE BRANCH REVIEWS
I love studying/working here. They have large windows looking over nature and there are always seats available. It can get a bit loud sometimes, so if you're looking for a quiet spot this may not always be it. Great for collaborative groupwork though!
We did a decor setup here with table/chairs, seating etc, Its a good place to hold an event as it has ample amount of space. Definitely give them a try!
Honestly the atmosphere, the natural lighting and how organized this library is truly amazing. I could sit here for hours comfortably.

Duffin Meadows Cemetery boasts a heritage and history stretching back to the late 1800s. Initially a farm, the grounds still retain traces of its origins, with pathways, ponds, and expansive meadows defining the landscape. The original farmhouse, now transformed into a cemetery office, is a testament to the site's evolution. This site holds significance as it offers a range of interment options, catering to ground burials and cremations. The ground burial option presents a larger plot, accommodating two or more graves and allowing for the installation of upright monuments. A commitment to inclusivity drives the team's efforts, embracing diverse cultures and communities within the local area. Duffin Meadows Cemetery provides a final resting place and strives to harmonize with nature. The serene environment allows the remains to return to the natural world. Recognizing the growing Chinese community in the vicinity, a dedicated section has been introduced to cater to their needs. The cemetery's commitment to honouring veterans is evident through a distinct area reserved for Canadian and Allied veterans and their spouses. This thoughtful arrangement pays homage to those who have served their countries.
