“Don Beer Arena provides learn to skate programs for preschoolers and adults. In addition, you can find skating programs during the fall and winter seasons. Don Beer Arena has everything you’d want in a top-notch facility, offering all the features and amenities that make it an excellent place for events and activities. The Arena features good-sized dressing rooms and a spacious family foyer for waiting before the game begins. The Arena also has a fantastic snack bar with some of the best fries and a pro shop selling necessary equipment. Overall, it’s one of the best places to host or attend an event.

PICKERING MUSEUM VILLAGE REVIEWS

Fairy Tour offered at the Pickering Museum Village was amazing so much detail to each fairy house displayed. The volunteers are so helpful and very informative. The tours are guided with an audio recording you can play at your own pace as there is so much to take in ... they even incorporated a Scavenger Hunt finding 12 stamps and fill up your passport card wins you a prize at the end! The Pickering Museum Village offers many different events .. worth checking out!

It is a great gem of a place to spend an afternoon there. The staff and volunteers do a great job and if you have kids in your group there are a lot of fun things to keep them engaged while learning about how early settlers lived and their lifestyle. They have a busy calendar with tons of different activities. When we visited they had a solve the mystery activity for kids with a prize if they got it right. On the 17th of June we were there with kids and were asked to go indoors because of lightening. We were in for a while and were particularly impressed with a staff member Eamon (he is dressed as one of the characters). Eamon did his best keeping the kids engaged while we were indoors waiting for the all clear. Eamon brought out toys for the kids to play with. He came up with riddles for the kids to solve. He kept the kids engaged and we are grateful as the kids had started getting restless. Great job Eamon! The entire staff at the Museum is great, friendly and welcoming. Always a good time there.

Interesting place to visit. Very informative and fun for kids at Blacksmith house.

DON BEER ARENA REVIEWS

First time here to watch a friend's son play. A little gem of an arena hidden away. From what I could see there were 3 rinks, facility is clean with lots of parking.

Great place! Went here for a fundraiser they had great prizes donated! Smells like hockey as soon as you walk in.

Childhood memories! The party room upstairs is fantastic, very large has a rooftop patio and the price to rent was great!

Serene and peaceful vicinity. Retreat was very well organized. Rooms were clean. Food was great. Facilitators were adept and accommodating. I was able to reconnect with God and felt at peace here. It was a relaxing, calming experience. Definitely highly recommended.

If i had to say about this place; i will say “Just go and find it out yourself”. A place where magic happens, don’t miss it and yes it is different for everyone and worth it. You have to know it yourself to find your experience here. Thankful i did.

Come and rest here a while. Spending a lovely weekend (Friday evening to Sunday afternoon) on retreat led by Anne Hanley and the Jesuit priests in residence.
