“Yellow Brick Music is a community-driven school that focuses on providing quality education for students of all ages. They have retained an incredible 1,800+ students for over 38 years due to the quality of their instructors. Scott Butler began his musical journey at five, taking piano lessons at Yellow Brick Music. Scott has been teaching at Yellow Brick Music for three years and uses the Royal Conservatory methods to teach his students. He enjoys performing at street performances, talent shows, and other Hespeler community events. Yellow Brick Music school offers instruction in English, Russian, French, and Portuguese.

2025 Update: Dylan Langan, who has been teaching at YBM for 10 years, had the privilege of becoming the owner of Yellow Brick Music in July 2021. Richard and team are wonderful. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and when watching recitals, you can just tell how each instructor is so supportive of the students. My two kids have taken voice and guitar from different instructors and both have had a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend.

Our kids have had many teachers at QSM and they are all excellent. They all made learning fun and the kids developed amazing music skills and also benefited from these wonderful mentors in so many ways...more than I can count. Thank you for all you have done for our family for the last 7 years!

Jenn has been fantastic with my 4 yr old daughter. She started there at 3 yrs old. Jenn has such a calm demeanour and welcoming presence and my daughter just adores her classes. We couldn’t be happier with the experience my daughter is receiving and we look forward to seeing how she expands on her musical abilities in future programming.

Went in on a recommendation to get my bass guitar fixed and was blown away. Jeff was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He fixed the problem with my bass pickups and rewired it correctly. I will definitely be going back to Jeff Vasey Music School and I would encourage anyone who needs a setup done in a timely and cost-effective fashion to give him a try. 6 STARS!!!

Great music school. My daughters (ages 3 and 4) loved being taught by Jen. She is amazing with young children and has a lot of patience!

Thank you Will for your great customer service. Helped us find the right size guitar for my son. Graciously explained the difference between the models. Offered to add the other guitar strap knob for a mere 3 bucks or so! And helped us get the right size guitar bag while also explaining how keeping the guitar in the right humidity will make a difference to your guitar longevity. Thanks so much! You guys are pretty awesome.

Long and Macquade in Cambridge is amazing! A gentleman by the name of Fred helped me choose the perfect acoustic guitar today! They answered all of my questions, let me play all different kinds of guitars until u found the one I loved. I highly recommend this place for any musical needs! Not to mention the staff are incredibly knowlegable and friendly. Wide selection of acoustic guitars.

Great team at the Cambridge location. Chad was friendly and helpful and even played piano for my son (some fun songs). The fixed my guitar up (recently purchased and shipped from the Saskatchewan store *shout out to Mitchell Fraser) and it looks and plays amazing. I now have my dream guitar. Thanks you Long and McQuade team for helping every step of the way!!!
