Riverside Park features picnic sites, soccer fields, volleyball courts, and tennis courts. There are tennis courts, washrooms, and a children’s spray pad. You can hike along one of the community tracks or the boardwalk, take in a ball and soccer game, or play on one of its splash parks and many playground structures. There is also a BMX park and skateboard park, open for daily use throughout the summer months. Riverside Park has great areas for kids to play and picnic spots for families. This is a beautiful place to walk, stop at picnic benches, talk, and see the water.

2025 Update: Riverside Park is a 252-acre community park with sports fields, trails, picnic areas, and a splash pad. The park allows dogs.

Churchill Park contains sports areas, multi-level wooden playgrounds, a wide-open grass field, fishing, picnicking and other recreational activities. Churchill Park is a peaceful and quiet place to spend time with family and enjoy nature.

2025 Update: Churchill Park has facilities for basketball, skateboarding, and a splash pad for children to cool off on hot days.

SOPER PARK

Soper Park ensures a reservable picnic pavilion, ball diamond, a splash pad, and a seasonal pool. A pedestrian tunnel travels under Dundas Street to access the north side of the park. The park has a lovely garden with ducks and a cool stream. Visitors can watch plenty of beautiful flowers in the gardens during the summer, and the splash pad is a great way to beat the heat. Soper Park has a lot of shaded areas and benches to sit and relax. The Galt Arena garden has two ball diamonds, an open green space, and a floral display famous for wedding pictures. You can play other games as there is plenty of open space available in this park.
