"Riverside Park features picnic sites, soccer fields, volleyball courts, and tennis courts. There are tennis courts, washrooms, and a children’s spray pad. You can hike along one of the community tracks or the boardwalk, take in a ball and soccer game, or play on one of its splash parks and many playground structures. There is also a BMX park and skateboard park, open for daily use throughout the summer months. Riverside Park has great areas for kids to play and picnic spots for families. This is a beautiful place to walk, stop at picnic benches, talk, and see the water. Riverside Park is a 252-acre community park with sports fields, trails, picnic areas, and a splash pad. The park allows dogs.

"Soper Park ensures a reservable picnic pavilion, ball diamond, a splash pad, and a seasonal pool. A pedestrian tunnel travels under Dundas Street to access the north side of the park. The park has a lovely garden with ducks and a cool stream. Visitors can watch plenty of beautiful flowers in the gardens during the summer, and the splash pad is a great way to beat the heat. Soper Park has a lot of shaded areas and benches to sit and relax. The Galt Arena garden has two ball diamonds, an open green space, and a floral display famous for wedding pictures. You can play other games as there is plenty of open space available in this park. Soper Park features athletic fields, gardens, trails, and a playground.

The park also has four reservable picnic areas, making it a great spot for family gatherings and group events. Whether you're looking to go for a hike, play sports, or just enjoy the outdoors, Riverside Park is a true gem that has something for everyone. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful and well-maintained park in Cambridge.

One of the best parks in the Cambridge region. Long scenic trails. Park benches facing the riverside is so relaxing to sit & watch the fish & ducks wading in the water. Has a huge baseball field & some people play cricket too. This place hosts some events too every now and then.

A very nice hike along the Speed River. Glad to see all the trails that we were on, have been upgrade for people with special needs.

This place has a very calm vibes specifically if you go for a morning or evening walk, very peaceful and relaxing. Sitting by the lake was very calming and relaxing. It might be because there were very few ppl when we visited. There is a couple of children play area and football/ baseball grounds with multiple parking spots.

Had to put in a couple of hours prior to an appointment and so decided to do some Geo Caching in the park. Beautiful park and weather. Nice playground equipment, well maintained grounds & paths. Some water features, skateboard area. too swampy and mosquitoey to go into the brush for the geo cache.

Very good place for picnic and nature lovers . Also if you planning for running a big park.

SOPER PARK REVIEWS

This place is absolutely beautiful! The willow trees and the river running through it were the key selling features for me. There were ducks with their ducklings, birds singing, and even a neighbourhood barbecue going on when I visited. Stunning! I would love to visit with a good book and just spend hours reading. Plus, saw a cute little baby turtle while I was there. And I adored the tunnel going under the nearby road.

A big park, you can walk around along the water stream. You can play disc golf, tennis, kids play ground, and you can play other games as there is plenty of open space available. You can reserve a picnic area for $$.(Visit City of Cambridge website for more information).

Awesome park/creek/trail/picnic spot whatever you wana say, it's all in one. Such an amazing place to visit with family and have some relaxing time with the sound of natural water.
