“W.G. Johnson Centre offers recreation and fitness opportunities for all ages. The centre provides a full range of fitness classes, both drop-in and registered programs. W.G. Johnson Centre also features a conditioning room with cardio machines, circuit machines, free weights, floor equipment, and more. W.G. Johnson Centre has programs and activities to help people stay fit and enjoy spending time with family and friends. Their children’s day camps are designed for kids aged four to five.

“John Dolson Centre provides swim, youth, adult, senior, and general interest programs. The centre provides children with an excellent opportunity to learn and develop new skills, make new friends, and discover new talents that build life memories. They provide exciting programs and arts and cultural opportunities for all ages. John Dolson Centre has a large, clean pool, a slide in the shallow end, a diving board in the deep end, and lots of bleachers for those waiting. They offer a range of meeting rooms and facilities, accessible parking, and change rooms. You can easily reach out to them to register or drop in. They offer hall rentals for birthday parties.

2025 Update: The instructors are great and keep everyone active so the kids can get comfortable in this water environment.”

This is a great facility, I have only been to the pool, but there is also a nice basketball court, gym with treadmills etc. The facility is clean and well maintained. The pool is great, it is fully accessible in multiple modes of travel with a built in wheelchair ramp or 3 foot diving board, choose your own adventure! The hot tub has room for 8 and the sauna is also available to relax after your swim.

hey have a nice pool and stuff, but after swimming in it, I have got a terrible headache. I don't know if it was from the water or even if it was from here. But still, they have really good staff and service. Recommend it! I don't feel like being rude, the receptionist we had to lay was a male and was nice, he gave me and my mom a discount.

Staff were great when it came to renting the hall and even helped with set up . Extremely happy with this rental and highly recommend this place.

All of the Aquatic Instructors are absolutely fantastic! Both Anne and Monica, as well as, Jane dedicate themselves to providing the best possible water classes helping us to improve our skills and strengths to achieve our goals in the pool. At the same time making the classes inspirational and the most fun! Thank you to the instructors and the lifeguards for such professional level water classes! M.

Very spacious and doesn't feel cramped at all Swimming pool is as big as Markham's if not bigger. Court is not wood but the material is very sticky in a good way. You won't slide at all. Studios are big. Been to Markham and Oshawa Y First time and I've never seen this ladder machine before.

Members plus is decent, sauna, steam, and whirlpool all work well. Only downside is side is you only get 2 towels, and filtered drinking fountains are scarce, other than that the facility/amenities are great.

I cannot express how much this place, has became a big part of me for swimming. The lifeguards are awesome and Daniel the one lifeguard. Thank you very much for diving in and trying to retrieve my MP3 player which LOL. This lifeguard took off his socks issues and dive right in there when I couldn't find my MP3. I don't think anybody else would have ever have done that. Go take a swim you'll love it.

The people are friendly and the change rooms, although dated, are always clean with dry floors. So often you get wet socks while you are putting on your street clothes after a swim but they keep those floors clean and dry on even rainy or snowy days.

Nice facilities, great staff and you'll meet lots of lovely people if you enjoy pickle ball and other facilities that are well maintained and clean.
