My kids have been taught by Kristine for just over two years now. She is incredibly talented, not only at piano but teaching and singing. Piano has improved their academics in several areas of school. Kristine has been so flexible with my budget and schedule. My daughters 8 and 10 are moving at a medium pace as this is what my own personal budget allows, however we do have a piano at home so they can practice the notes and songs kristine teaches during their lessons. My daughter works with Kristine for both piano and vocal and we have seen a noticeable difference in not only her skills but her self confidence and self pride. My son Jayden (15 years old) has been taking guitar lessons at Upscale Music Studios for 3 years. I couldn't say enough nice things about his guitar instructor Brian Hawthorn. Since starting his lessons with Brian, my son has become an avid and skilled guitar player. Jayden plays a wide range of music spanning the decades from the 50s to the current day. Personally I like to sit in the majority of the lessons and I am always blown away with Brian's guitar playing and teaching skills. Brian helps my son with the little nuances that you can't learn through a YouTube tutorial. He also teaches proper guitar technique and practice which are essential to a new guitar player. Last but not least, Brian has been a great influence to my son. It takes a village to raise a son or daughter. I am most grateful for Brian's wisdom and advice that he shares with Jayden and I as we are both better people for having got to know Brian. I don't think Brian could ever fully realize the impact that he has had in my son's life and I will always be thankful for that.
