The reception staff are very friendly and patient with questions. Michelle K. works her magic with coordinating swimming lessons- thank you! Lifeguards Connor and Makayla are exceptional mentors demonstrating tips for swim team enthusiasts- as a parent I am very grateful to observe them inspiring others with their talent and enthusiasm. All the staff have been very friendly over the 10 years we've been attending programs here. The change rooms are always clean which is also appreciated!

I use the gym facility here. If you like to train in a quiet & less rowdy space where you don't have to wait to use equipment, you'll enjoy it here. There is usually one desk/instructor persons to guide if needed. The complex houses other sports activities like swimming, football, etc. Gym access is free for Trent students from September-April, but registration is needed at the desk.

Simply amazing and exactly what should be a fixtures in every major community...frontdesk staff was very patient and polite and they ensure you know about all the offerings, we kept popping up at the desk with questions and no one looked or behaved annoyed.

We’ve had an outstanding experience at the South Oshawa Community Centre. My daughters have been taking swimming lessons here since 2022, starting as complete beginners and now swimming like mermaids. Recently, just before a swimming lesson, my daughter had a severe nosebleed. The staff were exceptional, especially Lee and Robin. They handled the situation with great care and professionalism, ensuring she was comfortable and calling an ambulance when necessary. I deeply appreciate their swift and compassionate response. Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication. I highly recommend the South Oshawa Community Centre for their excellent programs and fantastic staff.

Clean facilities and friendly staff, less crowded than other locations. The gym is well equipped, there is a hot tub, dry sauna, kiddie pool, 25 m pool and a slide for the family. Beside a youth room there is also rooms that can be rented for events. Lots of free parking. Go and check it out. You can go for a walk at nearby park and beach too.

I took my daughter here for swimming lessons, and it was a great experience! The locker rooms were big with spacious bathrooms/changerooms and most importantly it was clean!!! The pools are very enjoyable and I have been back many times on my own to lane swim during the day when it's less busy.
