“Dr. Fahad AlKherayf obtained his medical degree from King Saud University in 2001 and completed his neurosurgery training at the University of Ottawa in 2010. He is an assistant professor, a residency program director and a neurosurgeon at the University of Ottawa. He is also an associate scientist in the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) clinical epidemiology program with a cross-appointment to the Neuroscience Program. Dr. Fahad is clinically interested in translational primary brain tumour research, clinical trials, and spinal cord injuries. He focuses on complex spine surgery, minimally invasive cranial surgery and complex craniocervical reconstruction. Dr. Fahad AlKherayf has authored and co-authored numerous research papers and abstracts, and he has presented at numerous international conferences. Dr. Fahad AlKherayf has a particular interest in neurosurgery and spine education by teaching many courses and has also been serving as an editorial board member for many journals.”
