“Stewart Optical store has returned after being gone for 25 years. Jim Stewart is the owner of Stewart Optical. They have a great new location in the old BP's building on Dunmore Road, with lots of parking. They provide a vision check and a complete eye health check, including imaging, which allows better diagnosis of numerous conditions. They can order a variety of contacts for their office. They also have monthly and daily Cooper Vision and Johnson and Johnson contacts in stock. They can do contact lens training on Thursday evenings, Saturdays, and weekdays. They offer a 2-year warranty from the purchase date.

2025 Update: They can direct bill to numerous insurance companies for your exams, contact lenses, and glasses. They offer free adjustments and repairs for all their patients who have purchased from them. Stewart Optical has an optical lab on site.”

Very knowledgeable and caring staff. I had my frame changed on warranty...no issues doing so...my lenses didn't quite fit at the right level for progressives....recieved new ones with no issues at all in doing so! My glasses are now the best that I have had since having to have the progressive lenses! Thank you so much for all you have done.

Service was amazing! Alicia and Ashley made every effort to make things easier and were able to direct bill to my.insurance. Glasses fit perfectly and vision is great.

Was very please with my service here. Bonnie got me in super quick when I got metal in my eye at work. Doc made quick work of getting it out and getting me back to work! Would definitely recommend.

The staff are great. I had Dr.Glass for my eye exam and Rhonda helped me find new glasses . A great selection of eyewear . Here are my Maui Jim Prescription Sunglasses and my FaceaFace glasses. My new glasses were ready within a week.

I have purchase glasses from this store as well as visiting Dr Glass for Post Cataract surgery checkups, plus repairs etc. I have found Jim Stewart and all his employees top notch. Jim himself has gone over and above to help me more than once with my eye care needs. All the staff including Dr. Glass have been so professional, helpful and polite. Very nice facility with very capable staff. I very much encourage anyone to visit this business for any and all eyesore needs. I'm certain you will be very satisfied.

My experiences as a customer at Stewart Optical have been absolutely outstanding! Not only does optician Jim Stewart assist me in picking out the most fantastic frames, but also he makes certain the glasses fit properly and feel comfortable before leaving the store. The service I receive from everyone at Stewart Optical is completely phenomenal. They are quick to fill my prescriptions and fix any issues with the glasses with broken or scratched glasses. The quality of the glasses, the professional care exhibited by staff and the excellent pricing have all made me as a very happy return customer.

I purchased buy one pair get the second pair free . My second pair has everything that my first pair has, except I add on the transition to my second pair and gladly payed the difference. I’ve always had frameless glasses so the first pair of frames that I did get were sitting a little bit heavy on the bridge of my nose. We did some adjustments and figure out that it wasn’t going to work. I was within the time limit to exchange for another pair, with the help from the staff I did find the perfect fitting glass and I am so very happy with them.

I am new to wearing glasses. The staff at Specsavers are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Special thanks to Peter who went above and beyond to help me with a damaged pair of glasses. You rarely find that good old fashioned service anymore. Absolutely will recommend Specsavers! Thanks again for the excellent experience.
