“Dr. Serena Ajani earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto with a focus on Biology. She later received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry, where she received scholarships each year. During her internships, Dr. Ajani gained extensive training in diagnosing and treating eye diseases like diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. She is certified by the Canadian Board of Examiners of Optometry and licensed to use Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPA). She holds accreditations in the United States from the National Board of Examiners (NBEO) and in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Diseases (TMOD). Dr. Ajani specializes in pediatric and diabetic eye evaluations, providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. She offers services, including eyeglasses and contact lenses, and she diagnoses, treats, and manages specific eye conditions and emergencies such as pink eye, bacterial infections, and corneal abrasions. Dr. Ajani is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO) and the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO). She is currently practicing at Cornell Optometry, where her team strives to provide a warm and welcoming environment for their patients.”
