He also completed a one-year surgical internship at the Wellesley Hospital, University of Toronto, followed by five years of specialty training in Plastic Surgery at the same institution. Dr. John Kao is an active member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Canadian Society of Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Plastic Surgery.
