"Dr. Rustom Sethna earned his medical degree from the University of Bombay and has over 33 years of experience in psychiatry, specializing in neuropsychiatry and geriatric psychiatry. He is a member of the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and a lecturer in its Department of Psychiatry. He also holds adjunct clinical professor appointments in the Departments of Psychiatry at Queen’s University, McMaster University, and the University of Ottawa. Dr. Sethna contributes to the delivery of emergency, inpatient, outpatient, clinical, and diagnostic services. He practices at Markham Stouffville Hospital and works collaboratively with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and concerns.

Dr Berber is thoughtful, experienced and balanced in his approach to care. My sister has schizophrenia and suffered for more than 3 years before Dr. Berber became her psychiatrist. Within weeks of entering hospital, Dr. Berber literally changed my sister's life. Now, on the right medication, my sister is, once again, is enjoying her role as a mother, wife, daughter and sister. Thank you Dr. Berber and all the team at Markham Stouffville Hospital.

My son became very unwell following many months of marijuana abuse. The cannabis abuse caused confusion, isolation, unemployment, apathy and psychosis. Following treatment at Markham Stouffville Hospital under Dr. Berber's care, my son is now drug-free, happy, back at work and enjoying life again. I highly recommend Dr. Mark Berber.

Dr. Berber truly helped me understand my Borderline Personality Disorder. His knowledge, patience and experience helped guide me to a safer and healthier place in my life. Thanks to Dr. Berber's treatment I am no longer suicidal, no longer hurting myself and feel happier than ever before.

Dr Sethna literally saved my life. I suffer from chronic jaw pain and after a thyroidectomy for thyroid cancer went into a deep depression which I could not climb out of. As a nurse I was sure I could fix myself but I came to realize after suicidal thoughts came into play that I needed help. A referral from a mental health nurse friend started my journey to a healthy mental state. He is always there when; I need him, and speaks to me with the utmost respect. His staff are wonderful, non judgmental and caring. I recommend him to my own patients and would not be here if he had not intervened to help me.

Dr. Sethna has been my Psychiatrist for many years now. He takes the extra time, and has a good bed side manner. He can seem tough sometimes. This I now see I needed at the time. This was instrumental in my recovery, and continues to be so to this day.

Dr. Sethna has been my primary psychiatrist for my mental health for many years. He is extremely professional and caring. He takes the extra time with me when needed. I am grateful to have not only an excellent doctor, but one who treats the whole individual.

I was admitted to the mental health ward because I tried to hurt myself. Dr. Ticoll saw me immediately. He and the other team members indicated that I had substance use and personality problems. They dealt with this well and I felt reassured and supported. I am trying to better understand why I do what I do. I am more secure and not thinking about self-harm.

He is such good support. I have had longstanding issues in my family life. He is available when I need him. He listens and doesn't pass judgement or offer bromides. He provides medications but limits this to the necessary.

The best doctor of Psychiatry in Canada. Best in everything, great knowledge of his profession, great in counselling services too and prescribe the right medicines. Great expert on motivational techniques. Provides the best care.
