NANAIMO MUSEUM REVIEWS
The staff and volunteers of the museum were informative and very helpful. I love their miner's hat hunt in the coal mines for the kids. It gives history, excitement, and perspective towards the old days. Their exhibits and artifacts of the indigenous people of Nanaimo that's shows their culture and their language was amazing to read and see. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to see a little importanr history in their Nanaimo vacation.
Well curated and educational survey of Nanaimo history. Sections on coal mining, Chinatown(s), and indigenous peoples were particularly well done. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
It was way more interesting than I expected for a small island town's civic museum. Really enjoyed my visit (and learned some new things). Well curated.

THE PORT THEATRE REVIEWS
This venue this theatre is an amazing piece of engineering and artistic triumphs. The stage is just perfect. The stage wings are huge. The hall from stage right to stage left is set perfectly for any performer needing such an entrance. My time upon this stage was amazing. I will update if, eventually, I see a show in the theatre itself. Backstage is inspired. The figure is a staging prop for lighting fyi.
Amazing venue. The performance Electrifying Eroica by the Vancouver Island Symphony was PHENOMENAL! A very professional and talented ensemble led by a fantastic conductor who was entertaining to watch him lead.
Amazing experience at Port. My guest was having trouble moving around and the theater workers were most accommodating with moving him to a more accessible seat. Can't thank the staff enough for an amazing evening.
