“Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre is an indoor arena and has a fairly typical concession scene for Junior A lacrosse. The rink is ideal for watching hockey games. The arena is well-maintained and kept clean. The staff at Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre guide visitors, including students. There is a separate snack bar where you can enjoy refreshments with family and friends. The floor has smooth concrete with a central logo, adding a personal touch to the venue.

“Alder Street Recreation Centre features 2 indoor arena ice/floor pads. public skate, skating lessons, hockey and lacrosse. Alder Street Recreation Centre meets the expectations of visitors by offering various amenities and well-maintained facilities. The staff is helpful, and the ice is consistently well-maintained. The centre also provides a library and a snack bar. Alder Street Recreation Centre is an excellent place for kids and a top choice for family-friendly activities. The Community Centre hosts events and musical performances.

THEATRE ORANGEVILLE REVIEWS

What a show, in such a stunning venue, the Opera house is a stunning restoration of a vintage theater, really remarkable being in a space with so much history, the seats where renovated originals, with intricate iron work, the seating also gave every seat a good view of the stage. The show, a sound of music, was also amazing, originally I was told it was a 3 hour show, great value for money, and with 2 younger children I thought we would have to leave early, but the quality of the lighting, costumes, set design, singing and acting, in fact the whole production was top quality. It was also a special night as it was closing night and we shared the awards and gift giving to production, lighting and wardrobe teams. Really worth the ticket.

I have truly enjoyed every production I have viewed at this theatre. Fantastic seasons with a variety of performances - everything from drama to laughter and singing. The theatre itself is very comfortable and sound and sightlines are good.

Always love the shows at the theatre. For those who participated in the mosaic painting the finished piece can be seen on the main floor of the Opera House.

TONY ROSE MEMORIAL SPORTS CENTRE REVIEWS

This is just what a community center should be. Enough parking and facilities are great. Everyone is able to use this place one way or another and that is what makes this place a community center.

Tony Rose is my favourite childhood (and recent) Arena to skate and swim at and do lots of fun activities. I still go there today to do my school work because it is so peaceful there. Their snack bar is just perfection!!!!

Great arena! The seats were comfortable, lots of leg room, unobstructed view of the ice and the heaters were fabulous!

ALDER STREET RECREATION CENTRE REVIEWS

The new pool at the Alder Recreation Building is a hit, especially for families with children. The dedicated kids' zone is fantastic, featuring interactive water features and shallow areas perfect for young swimmers. The space is designed with safety and fun in mind, ensuring kids have an enjoyable and secure experience. This addition makes the Alder Recreation Building a top choice for family-friendly activities.

Freaking Wow! The new pool renovations are incredible! The stainless steel pool is wild and the extra lanes are great! The filtration system and water balance is the best I have ever experienced in any public pool. The change rooms and showers are unchanged but remain spotless and near perfect.

All staff members are friendly and knowledgeable and facilities are great, this place is so reliable for a good time with the family, always has lots of good stuff to offer.
