TOP 3 MIDTOWN YOGA KW REVIEWS
I am so happy to have joined midtown yoga! After several years of major health problems and being very inactive, I was nervous. But felt very encouraged by staff and other members. I have never felt so welcomed or supported by any gym or exercise class as I have with this studio!! If you have times where you haven't come in for a while they gently check in to make sure you are ok, which is so motivational if you just fell off the exercise wagon!! The studio is always clean, organized, everyone is friendly and welcoming, so inclusive. The classes are amazing!! My body is so much stronger and my pain is more manageable. I am a proud member of midtown yoga!
I attended their open house free session yesterday. it was the hot pilates class. Amazing instructor and a nice space. The only issue I had was it was so difficult to breath in the class, had to constantly get out for fresh air. only if the windows were open and had it been at normal temp, I would have enjoyed it much more.
My favourite yoga studio! Such a welcoming community to new members, the teachers are truly amazing. Each teacher takes the time to really get to know their students and help them grow. Thank you Midtown Yoga!

TOP 3 THE BRANCHES REVIEWS
My YTT experience at The Branches (formerly Queen Street Yoga) was transformative. Directors Leena and Emma are genuinely invested in their students. They are humble and kind, sharing their vast knowledge and inviting faculty with specialized skills to round out the incredible learning experience. It was fun and challenging, launching me into my yoga teaching with confidence. I am grateful to Leena, Emma and everyone involved in the yoga teacher training program.
Emma, Leena, and Leslie are master educators — each in their own right. They embody the values of their teaching and present the course content with openness and curiosity. This open mindset is reflected through the program’s dynamic and circular approach to learning. As a graduate, I feel that I really know the content! The Branches YTT program is truly the most refined and well put together educational experience I’ve ever taken part in. I cannot imagine having a better foundation to start out as a new yoga teacher!
Emma and Leena leave no stone unturned in their YTT. They think of everything a teacher could possibly need and take time to answer questions we all had along the way...I am grateful to have taken part in this life changing experience. Emma and Leena create a yoga teacher training that is compassionate and non-competitive, yet challenging and full of growth. I worked hard, grew in ways I did not think possible, and created lifelong friendships and networks with a group of amazing people.

TOP 3 BIG BLISS REVIEWS
Big Bliss is the absolute best!! I started coming here after moving to the area 3+ years ago and was hooked after my first barre class. Over the years I can say that I feel both physically and mentally stronger because of Big Bliss and have benefited tremendously from coming here. I truly feel accomplished after taking classes here! The instructors are caring, friendly, and supportive - encouraging you every step of the way. All staff are lovely to interact with and there is a true community feeling here which is evident at each and every visit. There is a wide variety of classes for everybody - from yoga to barre to pilates - and a very flexible class schedule.
First time here this evening and I chose a hot Pilates class. I've never done a Pilates class before and I was able to catch on to the moves pretty easily. I feel like if you did this class a few times a week you'd be in shape in no time! The instructor was lovely, she gave me a quick tour as it was my first time there and was super friendly. The other person at the front desk was also very attentive and welcoming. If you forget your mat, there are some available for use as well as bands and blocks. There is a change room there and water fountain to stay hydrated. Side note: when they say hot, they mean hot! Having previously done hot yoga in studios that were very warm but not hot, I loved this about BB! Can't wait for my next class.
Big Bliss is my favourite place to reset & recharge after a long week. You feel a sense of belonging just by walking in the door. There’s absolutely no competitive or judgemental atmosphere. The hot yoga classes are the best!!
