MOUNT ROYAL BAGEL REVIEWS

I have not been to the location but I know people who are in Victoria on a regular basis and always bring me back a dozen. The bagel is a cross between a true Montreal bagel and a New York style. It leans way more on the Montreal side and they are amazing. We do not have great bagels on the west coast but Mt. Royal hits the mark and are absolutely amazing.

I was raised in Montreal, a block and a half away from the original St. Viateur Bagel Shop. These bagels were a staple in my life for over 25 years. Then living in Ontario, Alberta & BC I was always disappointed in the various versions of bagels, until I found Mount Royal Bagel in Vancouver & now Victoria. The original flavor & texture. These are unquestionably the authentic Montreal style. Unmatchable.

Close enough to be called a bagel. To be clear though, they are still nearly twice the size of Montreal bagels. That said, they’re the only ones I recommend if you’re not in MTL and NYC.

This place is the best! The staff here are awesome and friendly and are always working hard and always make me feel welcome when I go there. Whenever there is a problem with my drink or food, "which is almost never," they will offer me something else in exchange or sometimes my money back. You need to try this place but come early if you want to try their muffins, especially the Blueberry or there food as they only make a small amount but you usually can always get one of their delicious "Bagel Sandwiches", these are made with Mountain Bagel Company Bagels and this place sells alot of them because there good.

Excellent service, perfect atmosphere, but the best of all: the breakfast bagel! And their chai latte WOW, make sure you get the creamed spinach on your bagel sandwich, a must go in Victoria 100%.

Delicious espresso and breakfast bagel. Nice vibes and interesting cafe design. Will definitely be back.

UNION PACIFIC COFFEE SHOP REVIEWS

This cafe is definitely one of my top 3 favorites in Victoria! I've even purchased their coffee beans to enjoy at home. The atmosphere is incredibly charming, making it the perfect spot to relax and catch up with friends over a cup of coffee. I highly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to send others here.

Great place for coffee and breakfast. There goodies are really great. They are making their croissants. Nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating areas. The patio in their back yard looks really nice and fun. The service was ok but not friendly and smiley. The place was busy in the morning. Highly recommended.

Delicious healthy food, everything tasted really fresh, the matcha latte was delicious, and they serve JJ bean coffee. Fun environment and friendly staff, definitely worth visiting.
