3 Best Dog Trainers in Fredericton, NB

In February 2023, I adopted a nine-year-old rescue from the SPCA. Rescues are different and come with their own sets of challenges. I was not sure what to expect, and Meghann has helped me with every issue I had, right from the get go. Among other things, my dog was not house trained. Meghann and her FUNdamentals class have been a life saver. Thanks to Meghann’s advices, my dog was house trained within a few weeks… a proof that you can teach a trick to an old dog! I would highly recommend FUNdamentals and any other class offered by Meghann. She has lots of experience and knowledge. I have yet to throw a question at her that she did not have an answer to! The format of FUNdamental is ideal. You can learn at your own pace, at home where your dog feels safe. There is no pressure on you or your dog. On Tuesday evenings, there is a group zoom call where you can ask questions about the class, about something your dog does or doesn’t do… anything. Everyone gets a chance to ask their questions. The group is small. The fact that you participate from home makes it easier to attend. And on Saturdays, when your dog is ready to meet other dogs, you get to go to the training center and work on behaviours with Meghann in person, again in very small groups. I love that my dog learns through positive reinforcement and while playing games. As far as I am concerned, FUNdamentals is worth every penny!

If i could give more than 5 stars for Paws on Hubbard I would!!!!! Meghann's knowledge, passion, patience and enthusiasm is addictive! My husband and I brought our cockapoo Sadie to Meghann when we first got her and it was the best thing we ever did!!! Let's just say she is now known as Aunt Meghann to Sadie and she gets soooo excited when she gets to go see her! I recommend all the training she has and also daycare was awesome too!!! I can't say enough amazing things and cannot explain how much we learn at every visit! It is a great dog family with everyone who goes there! Everyone is so welcoming and accepting! Thanks Meghann for everything!!

We adopted a two year old puppy from the SPCA and they highly recommended “Paws On Hubbard” for training. I found the program very beneficial! Meghan was very informative and helpful and always ready to answer any question that I presented. The teachable videos were very informative as well and allowed one to revisit whenever necessary. Great work Meghan and thank you very much for all your help!

We found Healing Heeling Paws (and Meghann) by chance in 2022 shortly after bringing home our miniature poodle puppy, Riley. He was a handful, but Meghann assured us that he was, in fact, a normal puppy. (I was quite certain he was possessed!) We registered him in the Baby Puppy class and noticed how much he enjoyed learning. He wasn’t the only one. We were also learning how to bring out the best in him through the in-class sessions, videos, and weekly Zoom meetings where Meghann addressed concerns and questions always providing the benefit of her insights in ways that we could take and apply to our situation. She made the classes fun for puppies and parents alike. We believe Meghann to be an exceptional trainer, whose passion for that field and love for dogs is at the forefront of all that she does whether it be through the classes, the Paws Cupboard, or the daycare - Playing Paws Academy.
