“Dr. Nael Mustafa Shoman completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. He did his residency training in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at the University of British Columbia. He did his fellowship in Otology/Neurotology at the University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. His clinical interests include pediatric and adult complex ear surgery. His research interests include middle ear physiology and hearing rehabilitation. Dr. Nael is a member of the Halifax Cochlear Implant Program and the Maritime Lateral Skull Base Clinic. He provides safe treatment for his patients effectively and efficiently. He received the 2020 Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Staff Teaching Award. His research focuses on middle ear physiology and advancements in hearing restoration techniques. He also contributes to the Halifax Cochlear Implant Program and the Maritime Lateral Skull Base Clinic, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficacy in patient care.
