DR. EVELYN SUTTON - NOVA SCOTIA REHABILITATION AND ARTHRITIS CENTRE REVIEWS
Dr. Sutton has been my specialist for years and I trust her completely. She is thorough, professional, empathetic, and I feel so fortunate that my family doctor had referred me to her. I would recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Sutton has been treating me for RA for over 20 years. She is a wonderful doctor and person. I am indebted to her for not only keeping me essentially symptom-free, but also for likely saving my life. She recently identified symptoms I was having as being a possible sign of a blocked artery. She ordered tests immediately, which identified I had a 99% blocked artery. I had a successful stent procedure immediately after, and am able to tell you about this thanks to her!
I have had three visits with Dr. Sutton and I have never been to a Dr. that has such compassion and care for her patients. Dr. Sutton is taking wonderful care of me concerning my medical issues. Dr. Sutton and her staff make you feel that you are a person and not a number. She speaks to you so that you understand explaining all test results and medications. Kind, Caring, and very considerate, I leave her office feeling like I am in good hands. Thank You Dr. Sutton and Staff for all your care!

DR. BIANCA LANG - IWK HEALTH CENTRE REVIEWS
I hope all doctors and staff take a moment or two to read these reviews and to please take note over how important a little bit of kindness actually is to a patient's health. Taking a few 'extra moments' to look a patient in the eyes and remembering they are human beings who need help makes a world of difference in the healing process. Rest assured, patients are not there because they have nothing better to do. They are in pain and afraid. A smile, a bit of empathy or compassion and sincerity can make all the difference in the world. A million thanks to the health care professionals who do practice the above. It means more than can ever be expressed in writing.
Dr. Lang is the best and would recomend her to anyone . S he diagnosed my son with JRA at the age of 10 months old. Didn't think he would make, but with her dedication to her patients she found out what he had and made my boy healthy n happy again. He is 2 now an we see her every 6 weeks n we let her kno how grateful we are to her for saving my boy's life :) She has a bond with my son n he knows she is there to help him with his pain and even tho he hates hospitals and doctors he always gas the BIGGEST smiles for her.
When I was 12 I became very ill but doctors kept telling my mother it was all in my head and that I was doing it for attention. Finally my family doctor sent me to Dr Lang at the IWK and we finally found out that I have SLE. My kidneys started shutting down that night and I would have died. I owe my life to Dr Lang. She was an amazing doctor and really takes the time to talk to her patients and listen to their concerns. She taught me that nobody knows their own body better than themselves so if you feel something is wrong look into it. She is the best doctor I ever had.

DR. ELANA MURPHY - NOVA SCOTIA REHABILITATION AND ARTHRITIS CENTRE REVIEWS
Dr Murphy is amazing! She’s always very compassionate and caring. She is very knowledgeable and wonderful at what she does. She’s sometimes (usually) late for appointments but what medical office isn’t? She creates treatment plans and always checks in to see how things are working. If something isn’t working she changes it immediately. Being diagnosed at a young age with RA hasn’t been easy, Dr Murphy has always made me feel like she wants to do everything she can to help. I would highly recommend this doctor.
I thought she was great, she took the time to listen to my symptoms, experiences within the last few months. Did other tests, did more bloodwork to figure out a diagnosis. She listened to concerns, I am young and have been in a lot of pain and am scared. I even burst out crying because I have never suffered so much with joint pain, she consoled me and said we were going to figure this out. She took the time to answer any questions I had over the phone. I had a great experience with Dr. Murphy and I'm glad she is my doctor.
Dr. Murphy has been excellent, superb in my treatment. I had been bothered in recent years with swelling in the knee, wrist and ankle areas. Over the next three months we moved to a drug treatment of methotrexate and the biologic Symponi. The improvements were swift and significant. The doctor is a knowledgeable, professional, caring Rheumatologist and Halifax and I are fortunate to have her working in HRM.
