Dr Stender has been my family doctor for over 13 years, along with my son. I have chronic pain/illnesses. He has been amazing helping me navigate through everything. He is fantastic with my son and has been from his baby years right up to now, entering his teenage years. He is extremely respectful and listens. He is open and honest, doesn’t sugar coat things but is kind and heartfelt. I count myself blessed to have such a great family doctor.

I've been seeing Dr. Stender for over 15 years as my primary care physician and I am so grateful for his excellent care. He has helped me with many chronic illnesses, a short term disability claim, and took over prescribing medication for ADHD, depression, and anxiety after I became frustrated with the care I was not receiving from my psychiatrist.

Very knowledge, respectful and professional. He listens and talks in a way you can tell he cares. Very grateful to have him as our family doctor.

Her practice management is highly disorganized. She frequently fails to fill prescriptions and requires multiple appointments and trips to the pharmacy to get her to follow through. She fills prescriptions wrong, so that I have to double check the dosing and the medications myself. She does not explain important risks or side effects to the medications she prescribes. She has very poor understanding of appropriate prescribing for mental health conditions. She has been kind and empathetic during some visits, and dismissive during others. Still, there is no excuse for her lack of knowledge and disorganization- her mistakes have had the potential to seriously hurt members of our family and she does not take any responsibility if you point out errors. She is frequently away for long periods of time and does not arrange for coverage for her patients. She needs to collaborate with another physician or hire help for her office, but she refuses to take the pay cut.

I had Dr Dawood for years and always found her helpful but I was always stressed out because she had to many patients and it was crazy wait times to see her. The staff was rude and they never answered the phones. I was lucky enough to find a new doctor. I went in the other day and the sighn on the door said closed for lunch from 12 to 3. I knocked on the door and the receptionists opened the door for me I asked for my medical records and the receptionist said they are not there, I said where are they she does something on the computer all the time not looking at me and she said they sent them to my family doctor which is a lie. My doctor never received anything from them. It's ridiculous how they treat you there.

Dr. Isis Dawood is an amazing doctor. We are not officially her patients, but are considered "walk-in patients". She has kindly taken us in with the extensive waitlist. She is caring, genuinely concerned with our well-being. The wait time can be long, but that is expected. We prefer that over a doctor who tries to rush you out the minute you come in.
