“Dr. Freddie Chow earned his Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Doctor of Optometry (Dean's Honours) degrees from the University of Waterloo. He started the Eyes On Optometry Group and is a senior partner there. Dr. Chow is also a co-founder of CFC Optical Labs Inc., the only optical lab in Nova Scotia that makes and coats all their lenses. Dr. Chow has served on the Public Visual Welfare Committee and chaired the Annual General Meeting planning committee for the Nova Scotia Association of Optometrists. He is actively involved with the Canadian Examiners in Optometry, overseeing the national board exams. Dr. Chow serves as a consultant to various industry partners and has given lectures to optometrists, pharmacists, and family physicians across Canada. He works as a part-time clinical associate at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. Dr. Freddie Chowis is currently practicing at Eyes on Mumford, focusing on providing state-of-the-art eye care featuring Optomap retinal imaging and OCT scanning technology.
