Having used a number of movers in my life, I have to say, I was really impressed with First Rate Movers. I hired them on short notice for an end of the month move. Matt provided a great overview of what to expect from their service on our initial call. Moving is usually a stressful affair, but this one went extremely smoothly. Aaron and Jesse were timely, polite, friendly, efficient and most importantly very careful with all my furniture. These guys are real moving professionals. They made sure to sweep the path from the truck to my door before entering my house, so as not to drag in dirt. They used carpets everywhere they went in the house, wrapped large items before loading them in the truck and used protective wraps on all mattresses. Even the concierge at my building complimented their efficiency and cleanliness! I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to move with peace of mind that their belongings and home are being treated with care and attention to detail. I'll be using them for any futures moves.

Absolutely amazing. From the first call with the owner, to the actual moving day, the experience was great. Information and quote were accurate, there were calls prior to moving day to double check everything, and then moving day was the smoothest move day we've had. Cody, Courtney, and Francis were super quick and efficient and did an amazing job. They first did a quick review of what needed to be moved, and then got to wrapping and getting it all in the truck. We were shocked how quickly and how much they were able to move in a short amount of time. They went above and beyond with our appliances. And there was no damage to anything! Great job.

Everyone we interacted with was amazingly professional and kind. Our items were handled with extreme care and the movers were quick, friendly and efficient. Thank you for helping us through what could have been a scary move between two cities. The price was great and the service was even better. Can’t thank everyone at First Rate enough.

Yusuf and Anthony did an excellent job moving me from a third floor walk up with really steep, narrow stairs to mine and my partner’s new apartment. My moving logistics became more complicated the day before the move (for ex, multiple drop off sites), and Yusuf and Anthony were just great to work with - hard working, kind, careful, and good at moving things. The price was higher than quoted, but I think reasonably so, since my stairs are death traps and since the overall move time got stretched out as a result of extra stops. Would recommend Pronto to a friend in a heartbeat. Thank you Yusuf and Anthony.

We ordered moving service from this company on Feb26,2022, we moved from Kemptville to our new home. Guys have arrived on time, working quickly, carefully. They have a big experience how organize different kind of furniture in moving truck. We were satisfied with their work. Guys were very polite and friendly.

I hired them to move me into my apartment as I have a herniated disc. The guys showed up on time, were efficient in loading the dollys, and great at unloading into the apartment! Very friendly and very professional! Super quick too.

I am so grateful we chose Parkview Moving Co. for our move in January 2022! Alex graciously worked with us after hours to reschedule our move at the last minute due to a closing date issue. They were helpful, flexible, and accommodating in a stressful situation. The crew arrived 5 minutes early on moving day and were friendly, had a positive attitude, and made the experience smooth and enjoyable. They worked hard and got the job done quickly, but were also careful and thorough when wrapping and handling our belongings. I highly recommend Parkview to anyone in the Ottawa area. We will definitely be using them again!

I used Parkview for two moves, opted for a friend of a friend to support their business during COVID, and was oh so happy to go back to Parkview this third time! Their rates are competitive, their front office is professional and responsive, and the movers have always been polite, professional and experienced. This time, Greg, Phil and Wes took care of me, and we were right on the dot for the estimated time. These guys hauled butt with my heavy boxes and numerous stairs. They wrapped and looked after all my precious things. Wes took care to address all my questions and concerns, and Phil was most respectful and made sure my boxes and furniture went exactly where they needed to go.

Ben, Phil and Brock were amazing! They were professional and even when the concierge of the senior apartment was herself unprofessional and obviously not aware or informed about the hold on moving.
