My father died unexpectedly and I contacted Voluntas because I had been to a service there before. My choice could not have been better. From the first phone call onwards, I was guided through all the steps at the perfect pace, never feeling rushed or too overwhelmed with the decision making process, even though the service was going to be held within the week. I had difficulty deciding between various viewing and cremation options, but it was not a problem to have several quotes to fully understand the costs involved. Stephanie and her team made everything possible and the room was perfectly set up for the event. They were very flexible and understanding, really taking the time to make sure that we were satisfied with even the smallest details. The service went smoothly, the staff was very attentive to the guests needs and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. By the end, we left feeling like we were part of the Voluntas family, rather than customers. The staff was particularly lovely with my 7-year-old daughter (and all the other children who came to the event) and made her happy. She asked to go back to play with Pierre. I cannot stress enough how amazing Voluntas is. When my father passed away, they were so accommodating. They made us feel so comfortable and really stayed by our side during the whole process. Losing a family member can be very debilitating and having to organize funeral arrangements can feel overwhelming. Voluntas took care of everything, their attention to detail is impeccable.
