Steven, Chris, Carol and the entire staff at Kearney Funeral Home guided us through an emotional time for our family due to the loss of my dad over the past few weeks. We initially thought that putting together our own private celebration of life would be appropriate for dad. We decided as a family to at least meet with Chris at Kearney’s to see if it might be a better plan to remember dad. After meeting with Chris, we immediately knew that we were in good hands and that having everyone at Kearny help us was what mom and the family needed to give dad the send off he and we all needed. It took the pressure off all to do it ourselves and allowed of our family and friends to enjoy the celebration. If you are planning to do your celebration on your own, I’d caution you that there is a lot of work that needs to be done to pull it of properly and you may not want the added stress during this difficult time. The facilities are very nice, the service stall for the reception were kind and prompt. Everyone at Kearney’s made it a very special day and we had the time to catch up with our loved ones and friends in a relaxed, organized environment. We will have nice memories to cherish of this day and I thank everyone at Kearney’s who made our day so special Thank you

The Tremblay family wants to extend a huge thanks to the team at the New Westminster Kearney's Funeral Services. All our needs were taken care of in such an amazing, respectful and efficient way. We especially want to thank Aaron, the general manager, who step by step walked us through the whole process, covering all the many things we needed to be aware of. He was with us throughout the whole undertaking, and was such a reassuring presence during our time of need. Ethelyn the hostess we hired through Kearneys, was wonderfully calm, and capable helping with the setup, service and cleanup of our luncheon. Steve, the driver of the hearse was so kind, thoughtful and supportive. We couldn’t have ask for a better team. All our worries and stresses were handled so we could focus on the loss of our loved one.

I would like to thank Columbia-Bowell Kearney funeral services for their compassion, their attention to detail, their flexibility. We have used their services twice in the last two years and highly recommend their services. I would especially like to commend Steven Colon, our funeral representative, for his kindness, his patience and for unleashing the burden of all arrangement details for my sister-in-law. He was there for us offering advice, caring for my sister-in-law from the time of pick-up to the burial, and offering support at all times. Thank you, Steven, and all the staff for your considerations.
