Sheppard's Bush Conservation Area is a natural setting with forest hiking trails, picnic pavilions, and multiple soccer fields. The refuge is forested with seasoned pine plantations, a combined forest, an old sugar bush, and a ravine near the East Holland River. Sheppard's Bush Conservation Area also has a vast network of public lands and fun trails along the East Holland River. This 65-acre conservation area has over 3 km of hiking trails, 11 soccer fields, 2 picnic pavilions, a maple syrup evaporator hut, and the Sheppard family house. Visitors' parking will be available in the parking lot off Industry Street for 3 hours.

2025 Update: Sheppard's Bush Conservation Area includes a historic log cabin, heritage home and community heritage garden, and several historic buildings.

This popular recreation destination is for hiking, biking, canoeing, sightseeing, birdwatching, and picnicking. The trail, spanning 20.0 km, weaves through picturesque landscapes. This trail is a mix of urban and natural scenery, which makes this trail more enjoyable. Nokiidaa Trails are great for walking and cycling. There are plenty of benches along the way to rest. You can walk or bike along the trails in a beautiful natural environment.

2025 Update: The trail passes through town parks and green spaces, past wetlands and historic cultural sites, and has links to numerous other town trails.

Tim Jones Trail is a 3.5-mile loop trail that takes 1 hour and 39 minutes to complete and connects to the Wehrenberg Trail. Visitors can enjoy a small playground and picnic shelter. This is an excellent, quiet, and scenic space to visit and watch the fall colours. Tim Jones Trail features beautiful trees and rocks in the natural play space, making it suitable for all age groups. The park also provides areas for outdoor events. Tim Jones Trail is paved and suitable for walking, running, and cycling. The Aurora portion of the trail passes through parks with playgrounds and sporting facilities and winds through natural settings over marshes, rivers, and ponds.
