I was staying at a nearby hotel and took the opportunity to walk around the park during the morning and evening hours of my stay. I'm from Los Angeles and now live in Las Vegas and had never been to a park this BIG! It was so beautiful and the pine trees made me think of how beautiful the park must look during the winter. I'd recommend it for anyone staying nearby to pass some time.

This park is awesome so I'm surprised I didn't review them yet. Beautiful nature walks and different options, bike as well as walking trails and a chalet on one side so there are bathrooms. You can go in several different visits to see different sections and several different paths that one can switch between or choose a different one each time. There are many lovely views and benches throughout for picnics or for taking a break. There's a bridge over the river within the park too.

I visited Mont Royal on my second day in Montreal and fell in love. We first walked up to the view point with the Chalet. For me the walk up was more picturesque then the view of the city. I guess I wanted to get away from the tall buildings that I see in Miami. After I walked over the Beaver Lodge (I think its called) to go snow tubing. There wasn't enough snow to ski but this was so much fun! It was 9 Canadian dollars a person to use a tube the entire day.
