3 Best Hiking Trails in North Vancouver, BC

This place is so beautiful and has such great connectivity to other trails. So many fun things to do. We specifically like the 30 foot pool. The water was incredibly refreshing and clean. Trails are pretty accessible and friendly enough for my 12 and 15 year old although all of our thighs were burning pretty good on the ascent back out of the canyon. As of June 30 the ascent from the 30 foot pool trail is still closed. To get to the pool you have to hike the normal trail not take the detour. Then you just have to hike back out. The twin falls bridge and suspension bridge are a couple other cool highlights. I really enjoyed all the moss covered trees and vegetation.

Lynn Canyon was a very enjoyable trek for us seniors. Not very difficult but still challenging. The bridge cross is exciting both visually and physically. The trails are easy to walk and walking in nature is very relaxing. We had our little dog with us, and she really enjoyed the trail. Trail is free but you must pay for parking if you can find a spot. Definitely would recommend trying out this easy trail.

Such a beautiful place... The pool trail was closed because of construction so we weren't able to go there but the rest of the trail was good. Stairs are a challenge but doable.. water was a bit cold but definitely worth a dip. would definitely come here when there is less crowd.

Dog Mountain trail was very casual, not difficult, and well-maintained. Recommend for beginner hikers but if you are looking for a challenge, I'd probably recommend other trails on Mount Seymour such as Pump Peak trail. A few trails on Mount Seymour share the trailhead and begin from the same point. I did Dog Mountain in early October and there were some small flies along the trail and most at the peak. Bug spray recommended. Spotted a Steller's jay at the peak.

This is one of the most beautiful places that should be on a “must go” list. When you go, make sure you got the proper shoes because it can be a bit wet and muddy in a summer and slippery during the winter. By the way, this park might still have snow during the summer months :)) super gorgeous and breath taking place!

Love hiking here with Doggo. If you arrive early there is plenty of parking. Mt Seymour trail has lots of elevation and there are a lot of places to explore. Very dog friendly. Mystery lake is a beautiful lake and an easy hike.
