Lynn Canyon Park offers a relaxing atmosphere for tourists and area citizens. The park was officially opened to the public in 1912. This is a great place for a family picnic, a leisurely hike, or a relaxing dip in one of the many swimming spots. Lynn Canyon Park has expanded to 617 acres from its original 12 acres. This park was once a second-growth forest, with most trees aged between 80 and 100 years old. For several years, the ecological centre in Lynn Valley has been part of Lynn Canyon Park and provides historical information about the park. The park also offers a variety of hiking and walking trails. Users can enjoy a fantastic suspension bridge with incredible views that cross the canyon. The centre also has a theatre where educational videos are regularly shown.
