“Delbrook Community Recreation Centre is designed with maximum transparency to create healthy spaces with daylight and views of nature over the years. The centre has a large multipurpose room located on the lower floor. The center offers diverse activities designed with accessibility to bring people of varied backgrounds and generations together. Visitors can contact them for program registration or drop in to participate in their programs. Delbrook Community Recreation Centre offers free outdoor fitness.

2025 Update: The centre has six cages and two deadlift racks. The pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna are great for winding down, and the facilities are kept clean.”

DELBROOK COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTRE REVIEWS

State-of-the-art, relatively new community center that has everything from a swimming pool to multi-purpose facility rooms, squash, a giant gym for weightlifting and cardio, and even some breakout rooms for spin classes. Highly recommend this facility as it really does have something for all ages of people in the community. There is underground parking although it fills up very quickly but there is further parking outside if you can find it. The parking fills up quickly as there is a multi-purpose field that kids often have various sports on.

A very busy recreation centre with a ton of activities for everyone to enjoy. Pool is super nice and busy. Fitness centre is even bigger and has tons of racks and equipment. Parking is sometimes busy but there is parking around the neighborhood. Blenz being inside is so great because of the access for food and drinks after a nice gym session or after programs.

Excellent facility with very helpful and friendly staff. Modern equipment throughout the gym. A great variety of pools to choose from. The facilities are fully accessible for wheelchairs

KAREN MAGNUSSEN COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTRE REVIEWS

This is a fantastic little gem in Lynn Valley for the family. We bring our young son here multiple times a week through the year for swimming and skating, both for lessons and free play. The wave pool is a huge hit with our son, he loves it. Great instructors in both the skating and swimming departments. Haven’t personally used the gym but have seen it, and it appears to be fairly well outfitted with equipment. The facility is a bit dated but is a staple in the community.

Nice staff and super cool pool with fun waves!! Our kids love it and had a blast. They are 6 and 9 which is the perfect age for this pool.

One of the best rec centers on the North Shore. We always enjoy our visit every time we go.

Older facility but it’s a staple in the community. I’d rate the showers 10/10 for temperature and flow. Really sad to see it will be torn down long before the replacement is built. The pool has good hours and is more than adequate for lane swimming, with a good large sauna and a good hot tub.

This place is a recreational staple for the North Shore community. With a pool and other facilities it is home to a number of teams on the North Shore and just accessed off of Highway 1. There's not loads of parking but it's on a number of bus routes if you are transiting there.
