3 Best Music Schools in North Vancouver, BC

I came across MiFa Music & Art School while doing research on google. I picked up the phone to call the school and ask questions about my 4 year old son starting an instrument, specifically piano we had in mind. No one had answered but wow within half hour the owner called me back and asked me questions about what I was looking for. She gave me an opportunity to ask anything and I felt so comfortable speaking with her. The best part was she went above and beyond to find a date and time that worked for me to bring my 4 year old son in for his first piano lesson. Upon arrival to the first session she was welcoming, kind and calm. Through conversation, she gave me tips on what piano at home may help my son practice and learn easier. Since my son has been attending this school I have had some pretty awesome conversations with the owner. The reminders for lessons and communication is excellent. My son’s piano teacher Judy makes learning fun for him and encourages me to step in at the end and watch what he learned for about 5 min and I so appreciate that. My son stays engaged and looks forward to his sessions. I’m so glad we found this music school. Definitely check it out especially if you’re in the North Shore community.

Medya is a wonderful piano teacher! She's really nice and sweet, and she's great at making kids love playing the piano. Thanks to her, my daughter has gotten a lot better in a short time. Every Sunday, my daughter can't wait for her piano class with Medya. We're so happy we found her.

My children have been attending piano classes with Peyman, and I am extremely pleased with the progress they have made. Peyman is a patient and knowledgeable instructor who creates a fun learning environment. I highly recommend this piano class for kids!

Mermi is a passionate and dedicated person who genuinely loves what she does, and it truly reflects in her business, Mermi Music Academy. Her care for both the music and the students really shows. After a long break from practicing piano, I’ve felt supported and encouraged every step of the way to pick it back up and keep going even with the busy adult life. My sessions with Ms. Maryam have been amazing. She’s incredibly patient and always takes the time to adapt her teaching to my pace. I’ve never felt rushed or judged, just supported and motivated. I highly recommend this academy and the wonderful teachers there to anyone looking to learn and grow in music.

Few months ago, I attended Mermi Music Academi event which was an incredible musical event, and it was an unforgettable experience! The talented musicians played a variety of instruments, each performance more mesmerizing than the last. From soothing melodies to energetic rhythms, the music filled the air with joy and excitement.

Absolutely love Mermi Music Academy for my daughter’s piano lessons! The teachers are incredibly kind and talented, and everything was just perfect. Highly recommend.
