Colony Farm Regional Park covers 260 hectares and provides habitat for over 200 bird species and other animals. Colony Farm Regional Park has water features perfect for kids of all ages and offers free entry, making it a great place for friends to gather and kids to play. The trails are well-groomed and maintained. Colony Farm Regional Park is home to diverse animal life, including beavers, hummingbirds, and salmon. This is a great place to walk your dog, jog, or take pictures of animals in their natural environment.

Traboulay PoCo Trail has a 25.3-kilometre route that encircles the community. This beautiful park is well-maintained and protected for community use and exploration. This easy walking and cycling trail is good for exploring any time of the year. The park features off-leash dog walking areas and a swimming beach. The trail includes distance markers, viewpoints, parking, and other amenities. Traboulay PoCo Trail has descriptions of flora and fauna found along different trail sections. The trail connects two other parks, providing a long stretch of smooth, paved cycling or walking paths. There are stations with information and activities, like tiny outdoor gyms. The Traboulay PoCo Trail is friendly and welcoming to everyone. You can bike, walk, or run along, but stop and enjoy the spectacular views, especially at sunset.

2025 Update: Shoreline Trail has two paths that wind along the coast of the Burrard Inlet. One is a paved, accessible, multi-use path for cycling and walking, and the other is a gravel and boardwalk trail for walking. Shoreline Trail is located 4.5 miles from Port Coquitlam, BC. This scenic trail starts at the pier in Rocky Point Park and ends at Old Orchard Park. It takes approximately two hours to walk the 6-kilometre round-trip trail. This is a great route for the whole family with minimal elevation on either path. This walking trail offers sweeping views and allows leashed dogs.
