3 Best Recreation Centers in Port Coquitlam, BC

This is a very large community center right near the downtown Port Coquitlam and very close to the Coquitlam Bus Loop! They have some parking available outside. However, there is plenty of free parking underground. Wheelchair accessible parking as well. I was quite impressed with the look of the building it's self!! Free WiFi in the building. There are lots of things to keep active for the whole family. Check out the following areas: Fitness Centre, games room, 2 Arenas, Leisure Pool, Skating Rink, Gymnasium, Terry Fox Library, and Terry Fox Hometown Square! There are lots of seating areas available on all floors. There are options to use the elevator or stairs, which is great for all persons' abilities or preferences. This is definitely wheelchair accessible community center. They also have a confession stand, but their hours do vary. The consession area has a far mount of seating with tables and chairs. You can also sit along the windows and watch people skating. Washrooms are large, clean, and wheelchair accessible.

Such a premium and decent community centre of minimalism space design with lots of positive vibes for all ages to come and spend a wonderful day! Read and grow wisdom at Terry Fox library. Get the interaction fun for gatherings and meetings. Swim or play balls and sweat out all the blues. Watching little living things skating around the big spacious arenas is full of visual joy already! Air is warm and cosy everywhere! Love this space so much!

Fantastic facility. Multiple rinks. A gym, pool and waterpark. Was there for a Box Lacrosse tournament. Lots of underground parking which was convenient. Great viewing areas and big bonus the concession is licensed.

I can’t speak highly enough of the children’s programming here at Port Moody Rec. The drop-in and scheduled programming is so well run, organized and creative. From the special events like lunch with Santa, to super hero training and the sports and music programs— they are all top notch. All of the staff are dialed in and care about the kids’ experiences. I also enjoy the adult group workout classes, and my husband loves the cycling classes here. We are an active family with programs set up in all of the tricities, and Port Moody is always our first choice.

What a great area! Facility is great, clean and open. We attended for 3 days for a Trampoline competition. Lots of seating, areas to walk around, great park outside for the little siblings to give them a break as well. Very convenient to walk over to Starbucks or Browns for a coffee or lunch without having to drive and fight traffic. SkyTrain with in a block to the facility. My only request is if they could somehow roll up the protective netting for activities where it is not required for safety reasons (puck/balls flying) it becomes very hard on the eyes watching.

We actually don't live in Port Moody but we were visiting friends. Very impressed with the facilities and programs we saw. The gyms were in full use with lots of programs for toddlers and older kids. Soccer pitch at as hopping as was the ice rink. And to top it off, farmers market in the parking lot!
