“Pitt River Bridge is a $200 million bridge project that features seven lanes and replaces two old swing bridges over the Pitt River. This 506-metre-long bridge includes a 380-metre, long three-span cable-stayed structure with two approach spans at each end. Love the space Pool was drained today, probably in prep for the new year. There is a Skating rink and hockey arenas. Love the kids and teens space in the library, though a bit small, however very workable. There is a gym area but I didn’t go in, just observed through the doors. Lots of indoor gym spaces for other kind of organized sports. However the play ground which is fantastic is outdoors so not always suitable for use in all weathers. Some outdoor courts also present. I really love the space.

Very impressed with the staff at this branch, I was looking for books on a very specific topic and age group and one of the wonderful ladies helped me search, find and then went a step further by ordering in and outtipuon hold more material she thought might be applicable. Very helpful and up for a challenge!

One of the cleanest and family oriented community centers I have visited so far. They are offering good number of activities and programs for different age groups. I also have used their gym facility which is located in two floors. The first floor gym lacks in equipment variety but the second floor makes a good addition to it.

PITT RIVER BRIDGE REVIEWS

The bridge is the best if you cycle or walk because you can stop and see forever - like Shangri-La to the north or the Fraser River to the south. (see my pic) There are fabulous bike and walking trails up either side of the Pitt River - that lead to more wonderful places. And you can get from one to the other by taking the bridge which has large protected lanes.

I always use it when I want to go to Maple Ridge BC, the bridge is very useful for people I love, thank you BC A useful bridge connects Port Coquilam to Maple Ridge and I always use it when I want to go to Maple Ridge.

Absolutely beautiful view every morning from the WCE. It’s a little expensive, but well worth it especially if you’re visiting! A must see trip from Waterfront to Mission or back!

MCALLISTER FOOT BRIDGE REVIEWS

BLUE BRIDGE we locals refer to it.Was due to be replaced with a larger replacement but due to budgets was cancelled.Nice shortcut via foot and bike.A little narrow by today's standards but perfect place to observe the salmon runs.A charming treasure to the park both sides of the Coquitlam River.

Great bridge, crossing from one site to the other is a no brainer. Gets the job done.

This is just a Foot Bridge a good place to watch Salmon spawning during falls.
