Great place to walk as the paths are paved or groomed. The marsh is active with water fowl. I have walked here is every season and it's raw beauty is a must see. There are no washrooms or amenities. Dogs mush be leashed. Bring your camera, binoculars, water bottle and walking shoes. The entire park can be walked in an hour. But, you should take time to sit at the many benches to watch and listen to nature.

1892 Churchill Line, Sarnia, ON N7T 7H3

Birding, Hiking Trails, Snowshoeing, Walking Trails, Cross Country, Skiing, Wildlife, Kid-Friendly, Nature & Park

This 200 acres property includes floodplain and upland forest, hedge rows open meadow and wetlands - Over 5 km of trails takes the hiker through a variety of habitats

The entrance is clearly visible, the parking lot is well-maintained, and the main trails were mowed for easy walking. Although it had been very dry in the days before my trip, there was a lot of mud and water across the trails. If you go, bring some waterproof footwear and a lot of water. Small bridges to help keep the area accessible would be appreciated. Much of the beginning of the trail is in a prairie-like area and you will be in full sun, so hydration will be very important...
