Van Goozen Music has been offering music classes for all ages and levels, from kids to adults, for more than 32 years. Their mission is to encourage everyone to at least give music a try. All of their instructors are highly trained and experienced. The school carries a wide selection of music books, instruments, gift items, strings, music stands, guitar bags, metronomes, harmonicas, violins, ukuleles, and theory books. They teach six days a week and try to be as accommodating as they can to everyone's schedule. They also provide training for Royal Conservatory Examinations. They recommend scheduling a regular weekly lesson time and offering make-up lessons with at least 24 hours' notice for missed sessions. Their fees vary by teacher's education and experience and are based on 30-minute lessons. Van Goozen Music offers gift cards.

Harmony for Youth is a non-profit organization for music lessons. They offer a positive space for Youth to express themselves, free from exclusion and bullying. Harmony for Youth ensures sustainable, transparent operations with adequate programs. There are no prerequisites or fees for participants, and their low overhead means more funds go directly to programming. They strongly advocate for inclusivity, believing everyone should experience the joy of Harmony and a sense of safety, belonging, and acceptance, irrespective of colour, race, gender, popularity, athletic prowess, intelligence, religion, or nationality.
