“Imperial Theatre enjoys plays, musicals, concerts, dance, and film festivals. Imperial Theatre is also dedicated to fostering the creative development of youth. Recent renovations and improvements enhance the experience for visitors, who can enjoy drinks from the beverage counter during shows. As a fantastic community hub for entertainment and showcasing local talent, it’s an ideal spot for the whole family. The staff and volunteers are always helpful and welcoming. Parking is accessible on the street all day on Saturdays and Sundays and after 6 pm on weekdays. During the day from Monday to Friday, parking rates vary until 6 pm.

2025 Update: Imperial Theatre is a facility that includes the 600-seat theatre, two fully licensed bars, the Nova Room, which is available for small functions, the Theatre Box Office, the R. W. Lawton Gallery, rehearsal halls, wardrobe, workshops, and administrative offices.”

CHILDREN'S ANIMAL FARM REVIEWS

Lovely place to visit, especially with kids. It's free but nicely kept with healthy animals and clean place. They have a little train which can bring your little ones for a short ride :) You can find a lot of fun facts about the animals which we found interesting even for kids. Don't hesitate to visit this excellent place.

We were at the park for the Revelree Music Festival and were absolutely blown away by the beauty of Canatara Park, and especially the Children’s Animal Farm! The animals looked happy and well cared for. What a lovely place to visit. We will be back.

A nice, well kept free animal farm (donations are accepted and should be encouraged). It's a nice walk through to see some common farm animals that are well cared for. Lots of photo opportunities to capture your memories.

STONES 'N BONES MUSEUM REVIEWS

My seven-year-old son and I visited this spectacular museum! It was the best experience! We recommend a visit here to everyone! Jimmy gave us a wonderful tour and his wife is the sweetest! We loved every minute and could not believe EVERYTHING In this magical place! We tell everyone it is a must! Thank you.

We went to the museum today and we were pleasantly surprised at how many interesting things they have ! The dinosaur fossils were amazing! They have thousands of specimens to look at and the interior is spotless. Thank you to the owners for being so nice and accommodating.

The owner is the best part - the true gem! Great place to visit and especially for kids. We went as a family and everyone had fun. You would never expect such a marvellous museum behind those doors.

IMPERIAL THEATRE REVIEWS

Absolute gem of a venue. Great seats throughout. We attended Afrique en Cirque and it was fantastic. We sat on the left side and row E which is a decent spot. Should probably opt for the middle instead of the sides but either way the seats are solid. The sound and lighting in the theatre are great as well. I definitely recommend seeing a show here.

Went to see our favorite East Coast entertainer Jimmy Rankin from Cape Breton! Nice theatre, old style, comfortable seats, great views of the stage and friendly staff. Bar is nice as well. You can take your drinks into the theatre with you which is nice. Jimmy was awesome as always, sound in the theatre was great. We will go back for another concert for sure.

We went to see the Stampeders! Sound was great! Seats were comfortable...I wish there was a place to dance though!!! Nice little theatre!
