Westminster Ponds in London, Ontario is an absolute treasure! If you're a nature enthusiast like me, this place is a must-visit. The trails are well-maintained and offer a diverse range of landscapes to explore, from enchanting forests to serene wetlands. The peaceful ambiance here is simply magical. It's the perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. The ponds themselves are a sight to behold, with stunning reflections and an abundance of wildlife.
Really nice hiking trail, at least in fall. I heard the ponds can flood and make the trail quite muddy sometimes so be warned. Love the boardwalks and the floating dock. The parking lot is free but is rather small. The trail is dog friendly and it's mostly flat.
Absolutely beautiful! Maintained trails that still offer the sense of forging through the woods, great for all ages. As an added bonus there is the use of washrooms at the adjacent visitors center. The only slight downside is there is not a lot of parking.
